A Pouilly-Fum that has all the classic hallmarks of minerally, delicate Sauvignon Blanc. A grower new to Waitrose, Patrick Maudry acquired the small Domaine de Fontenille in 1981. It has grown progressively and now occupies 11 hectares of prime, south-west facing, chalky-clay slopes 5km north of Pouilly-sur-Loire.
